Meet the Training Director
Nelson Miller
Training Director. Clients describe him the same way again and again: patient, knowledgeable, and able to explain exactly why your dog does what it does.
Nelson’s background is working dogs. He graduated from Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers’ Police K9 and Search & Rescue program, serves as the Mid-Atlantic Coordinator for the Eastern States Working Dog Association, and is an AKC Evaluator. He has titled and certified his own dogs in sport and work, and he trains service dogs for nonprofit organizations and private handlers, including every dog in Delaware’s C.A.S.H. veterans program.
That same depth goes into every family dog that walks through the door, whether it’s a 9-month-old Doodle who won’t stop jumping or a 100-pound Great Pyrenees with a resource-guarding problem.

What we believe
How we do business.
Every dog is family
Every dog and family that comes through our doors is treated like our own. Clients become friends.
We train the handler
A trained dog with an untrained owner doesn’t last. We coach you as hard as we train your dog.
Honest & fair
Straight answers about your dog, realistic expectations, and fair pricing. No gimmicks.
Family-run
We’re a family-run, drug-, alcohol- and smoke-free business, and we run it that way every day.
“A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast.”
