ADA-compliant training

Service Dogs

Service dogs for PTSD, TBI and mobility, trained to ADA requirements and to the specific needs of each handler, with the handler brought in every step of the way.

The short answerRiedel K9 trains service dogs in Middletown, DE for PTSD, TBI and mobility, to ADA requirements and to each handler’s individual needs. The handler is incorporated into training, and once the dog is ready we continue working with the team in everyday life. Riedel K9 is also the trainer for Delaware’s C.A.S.H. program, which places service dogs with veterans living with PTSD and TBI.

Individual by design

Trained for your life.

A service dog isn’t a well-behaved pet. It’s a working partner trained to perform specific tasks for one person. That’s why every dog we train is built around its handler.

  • Trained to ADA requirements for public access
  • Task training matched to the handler’s individual needs
  • Handler incorporated into the training process
  • Ongoing work with the team in everyday life after training
  • Temperament assessed up front; not every dog is suited to service work
